At Fibras Andinas, Fibras Andinas produce llama top of outstanding quality, from llama wool supplied by hundreds of llama growers living high up in the Andes. About 4000 kg per month of 20 to 26 micron llama top in beautiful natural colors are produced in our 17000 sq ft facilities, strategically located in the city of La Paz, Bolivia. Our air-conditioned plant includes fine dehairing and combing equipment in addition to an OFDA fiber measurement lab to assure product quality. Careful selection and color classification of raw llama wool is done by the expert hands of tens of indian women, who carry on a millenary tradition of spinning and knitting with this beautiful and delicate fiber.
