Gale Pacific Limited is a leading global marketer and manufacturer of branded screening and shading products for domestic, commercial and industrial applications supplying the following markets:

-Retail, hardware & home furnishing stores;

Gale invented knitted shade fabric in the 1970s. This innovation can now be found all over the world protecting people from UV rays, providing outdoor comfort in hot conditions, and in horticulture managing a variety of plants.

The company is the owner of the Coolaroo (consumer) & Synthesis (industrial) brands.

The Gale branded products are designed to:
-Protect people and outdoor living environments from the harmful effects of UV rays, hail and other adverse GALE PACIFIC LIMITEDather conditions;
-Improve the efficiency and competitiveness of agribusiness through increased crop protection and improved water conservation;
-Enhance architectural tensile structure designs and construction applications.

Gale, was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2002, ASX code GAP. The global headquarters are located in Melbourne, Australia. The company employs approximately 800 people globally and has a sales turnover of approx $120M AUD.

Our Brands: Coolaroo and Synthesis

Gale currently sells its products in Australasia, USA, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America. Seventy plus countries enjoy Gale branded product.

The products are principally produced in our modern manufacturing facilities in Ningbo, China. The largest, most modern shade production facility in the world. Some manufacturing of other products is also undertaken in Melbourne, Australia and California, USA.

The Company's retail products are marketed worldwide under the Coolaroo brand. Product lines include items such as shade fabrics, exterior window furnishings, gazebos, gardening fabrics, shade sails and a range of pet products.

Gale also produces a broad range of polymer fabrics for commercial and industrial applications which are marketed under the Synthesis brand. These products are used for:

-Building design, to shade car parks, sporting facilities, and school recreation areas;
-Construction purposes, such as barrier fencing;
-Agriculture and horticulture, to reduce UV damage and water loss, and to provide protection from birds, hail and insects;
-Water conservation and aquaculture, to prevent water seepage and / or evaporation, such as dam and channel liners, tank liners, and pool covers.

Gale employs over 800 people around the globe. We are recognised as a world leader in the research, development and manufacture of advanced and coated polymer fabrics.

Gale Pacific's operation worldwide:
Extrudes over 240 million kilometres of monofilament yearly (6000 times around the earth) in its Ningbo China operation. Just one of the components produced for its knitted fabrics;
12,000,000 metres of coated and laminated materials are produced annually in its Melbourne operation.
100,000 square metres of facilities.
Sells products in over 70 countries.
