Company Description

Howchon was established in 1992 with purely domestic capital and
technology. Based on its management philosophy of "providing
healthy foods where mankind and nature co-exist and achieving
customer satisfaction", Howchon continues to research and strive
for the development of foods that maintain the Korean tradition are
suitable for tastes of people all over the world. Through such endeavors,
Howchon only manufactures safe and eco-friendly foods.

By acquiring the patent for the method of manufacturing dried pollack
rich broth in 2006 and developing the "Howchon Lacquer Tree Sap Fed
Chicken Broth" in 2007, Howchon combined the cutting-edge patent
technology to traditional Korean foods and opened a ground-breaking
new chapter as a food manufacturing company by contributing to the
enhancement of the health of its customers. In 2011, Howchon also
released a meat broth product for Korean dongchimi naengmyeon made
with their own fermented young radish kimchi and established a
foundation to mass produce the product by combining kimchi, an already
globalized food, to naengmyeon.

Not only does Howchon consider the taste and nutrition of its food
products to be a priority, but it also considers the health of its customers
to be a leading priority. As a result, Howchon established a quality
management system and first commenced exporting its products to the
U.S. in 2000 and now currently exports to 10 countries.
