1. Application &＃8211; Locator using GPS and IMCO - Senior Resourceb technologies that will allow calling, retrieving and mapping SOS calls.2. Product &＃8211; A light, relatively inexpensive, very reliable device. The device does not require mapping capability. The device should be able to send an SOS signal to a telephone, a beeper or a computer (through the Web), providing, through GPS technology, the location the message originated from. The location of the device should also be accessible from a computer through the web without an SOS signal having gone out.3. Market &＃8211; Active seniors ages 65 to 80 years old, not confined to a nursing home. These are seniors that do travel at least locally and sometimes further. Depending on the particular circumstances they require different levels of tracking, locating and assistance. Our company will provide those different levels of service.4. Size of the Market &＃8211; According to the US 2000 Census, there were at that time, in the US alone, 35 million people over the age of 65. Of those, 18.4 million were between the ages of 65 and 74 and another 7.4 million between the ages of 75 and 79 years old. The size of the target market was in the year 2000 approximately 25.8 million people and estimations are that it grew by approximately 10% since then to 28 million people. Based on income level, care required and other considerations, we estimate the market to be 25% of that, roughly 7 million people. As stated above, these numbers relate to the US population only.
