IMGENEX India Pvt. Ltd., was founded by Dr. Sujay Singh, Ph.D., in the year 2004 at Bhubaneswar. The R&D unit of IMGENEX India was inaugurated in 2005 by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the then Hon’ble President of India and is recognized by the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India to conduct independent research. IMGENEX India is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified company and is continually putting efforts for high quality products. Its R&D unit is run by of young and experienced, enthusiastic, intelligent and dedicated scientists trained in India and abroad. Since its inception it has made great in-roads into India’s reputed research labs and biotech companies who use the antibodies produced by scientists at IMGENEX India, Bhubaneswar. IMGENEX India has built laboratories for development of approximately 500 polyclonal and 100 monoclonal antibodies per year. Adjacent to the R&D laboratory, IMGENEX INDIA PVT. LTD have built a modern animal house with a capacity for 1400 rabbits and 600 mice at any given time, which are used for development of antibodies and in-house research. These antibodies are being used world-wide for research in immunology, cancer, neurological disorders, inflammatory diseases, infectious diseases, stem cell, etc., through our partner company IMGENEX Corporation in USA. Scientists in India now need not depend on Western countries for their antibody needs. The Goal IMGENEX India has a long-term aim to produce therapeutic antibodies as a cure against deadly diseases like cancer, infectious diseases, and genetic disorders, etc. Its mandate is to be at the forefront of the scientific development and is incessantly thriving to make IMGENEX India a leader in the biotech industry.
