Company Description

L.T.D Kavkasioni XXI has been involved in cereal marketing and distribution for the last 20 years. The core activity of the company was the purchase of cereal and grain flKavkasioni XXI from major importers and wholesale distribution to various retail stores and end users. The growing demand for cereals in Georgia, together with the accumulated experience and technical expertise of the management, has led to the idea of developing oatmeal production.
The proposed project of oatmeal production was funded by Cheap Credit of Government of Georgia and MIllenium Challenge Fund (CNFA). In 2009 the oat processing technology was established in Village Natakhtari (15km far from Tbilisi), the production line represents one of the most modern oat processing lines available in Europe.
In order to ensure the quality of raw material and proper processing, the company oversees all stages of the chain, from crop production through processing. This l begins with supplying quality ecological oat seeds. The company provides technical assistance/oversight for planting all the way through to harvesting, using a company agronomist, who carefully monitor each growth stage of the oats. Insistence on high standards, and monitoring each stage of oat processing by qualified oatmeal technologists, ensures production of the highest quality oatmeal, which is sold locally and exported to other countries.
