KOVASTVO KRISTAN is a business, which produces steel, and iron wrought products, which are crafted upon the old Austro Hungarian blacksmith tradition. Nevertheless, Kovastvo Kristan products emanate contemporary impression. Our items are made in very different sizes depend of their function. They can be almost weightless or their weight surpasses thousands of kilos. We do not hesitate with using other materials as well. Therefore, we work also with brass, bronze, cupper, wood, stone, pottery, glass etc. Kovastvo Kristan products are made in very small series and even more often, they are made as unique pieces. As such, they are appropriate for different and original gifts. Our business is actually family business with long tradition from the times of Hapsburg Monarchy. The numbers of people, which work on certain project, oscillate depending of pretentiousness of the projects. If certain project contains other materials, we incorporate also other crafters, which are experts for other materials. We try to create pieces of art on which your grand grandchildren would be proud once in the future.
