Mara exporters was established by Lesame Kipteng, to provide job and export opportunities to women with skills in making women handbags and basket. The bags and baskets are made of sisal,therefore they are enviroment friendly.In 2004 the company expanded to make ceramic jemara exporterllery,soap stone and wood craft.The company has employed 40 people on permanent basis.It also has an ability to make 200 bags a week. Because we value quality each bag must be made with alot of care to give an attractive finish of art inspired by animals found in Kenya and Africa in general.
