Company Description

Marcopolo has been approaching people since 1949, the year it started its business trajectory to continuous exceeding. The company, whose name is linked to the history of passengers transport, was founded in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, under the name Nicola & Cia. Ltda.
In 1971, thanks to the success obtained with the introduction of the "Marcopolo" bus, it changed its name to Marcopolo S.A. The continuous growth consolidated the organization which has already produced in its factories in Brazil and abroad, in these 59 years, 200.000 buses with a current work force of more than 12.000 collaborators.
