For two Northern Beaches parents this resulted in a business opportunity. Mother-of-two Nikki Carden and father-of-three Stewart Davies found themselves discussing how difficult it was to tote a big clumsy nappy bag around and always forget to pack a nappy, wipes or something. So they decided to design their own bag. One that was compact, affordable, practical yet fashionable and which contained high quality essential products including ultra absorbent unisex nappies, degradable alcohol and fragrance free wipes, all natural barrier cream, disposable change mats, disposable bibs, antibacterial hand wash, orthodontic style baby soother (complies with AS 2432) and scented nappy bags. “When you’re a new parent there is so much going on that you have to remember to have a ready-to-go bag that’s always stocked with the essential products.” says Stew, adding, “Mums On The Run (Aust) Pty Ltd packs can be slipped into an existing bag making it really easy for other people who may help out on occasion like friends, grandparents and nannies.
