Al-Muheet Fish Company was established in Jordan in 1989, and practiced its commercialactivities through importing fish and seafood from all over the world andselling it as wholesale for hotels, restaurants, and stores. In the early 1990s, the company started opening fish galleries around Amman, specifically in Abdali/Police School Street, and Seventh Circle area/ Abdulla Ghosheh Street, and thena branch was opened in Aqaba Private Economical Authority. These branches Ocean Fresh Fishrespecialized in selling and cooking fish. In 2006, a classifiedrestaurant was opened in Al-Madina Al-Monawara Street as a tourist restaurantand specialized in Seafood. This year, thecompany has expanded its branches by the opening of a tourist restaurant inZarqa city and a fish gallery in Khalda for the selling and cooking of fish. After 20 years ofdevelopment, the company’s achievements can be summarized in the following points: It is no. 1 at thelocal level in importing fish. It is the firstcompany that balances between buying and selling both fresh and frozen fish. It is the first localcompany that diversifies its working fields (retail, wholesale, andrestaurants).
