Ovis Natural Casing take pride in having been in the sheep casing business for more than two generations. The Mouawad family has owned and operated sheep casing factories for over 50 years.

Based in Beirut, Lebanon, the family has close ties with suppliers in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. This has opened doors to carefully select raw casings – which is at the base of processing products of optimal quality.

In 2009, a strategic decision was taken by the family to modernise, restructure and incorporate the business. Therefore, Ovis Natural Casing was established as a "Société Anonyme" operating in Beirut and the region.

Today, Ovis is run by a qualified young generation with a modern approach, a feel for the industry's best practices and solid corporate foundation. Our experienced, high caliber production teams are supervised by captains of industry, who ensure customers' needs are timely and efficiently met.
