Promed Group, based out of Delhi/NCR is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical group offering a spectrum of pharmaceuticals brands to the global markets. Our dedicated large ophthalmic R&D setup and state of art, most advance manufacturing facilities create major differentiation to our products that the company is poised to enter into the markets of US and Europe. Promed got its first product registered in Europe and is now going to file list of ANDAs in the first quarter of 2011.

Promed Research Centre
Located in Gurgaon, the Research Centre has a built-up area of 24,000 square feets and is well equipped for undertaking formulation & analytical development, microbiological testing and stability studies. It is approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India. It is currently working on a number of ANDAs for filing with USFDA.

Manufacturing Facility
Promed has European-GMP certified Manufacturing plant that is located at Nalagarh, India (with a built-up area of 1,85,000 square feet) and is designed as per the latest cGMP standards to comply with US, EU and other international regulatory requirements. Promed expects USFDA inspection by QII 2011. The manufacturing plant has the capability to manufacture products packed in Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) vials and Three-piece conventional bottles. The manufacturing plant has the best equipments across the globe such as:

Capabilities:
Dedicated to small volume sterile solutions & suspensions. Size ranges from 0.5ml-20ml in BFS containers and 2.5ml-30ml in Three-piece conventional bottles (for Ophthalmics and Otics)
Aseptic processing & filling as well as terminal sterilization
90 million units annual capacity for BFS and 25 million units for Three-piece bottles.

Promed is expanding its horizons to the developed markets of USA, Europe and South America by way of collaborations/ partnerships and product registrations. As a step forward, the manufacturing plant has received European-GMP certification and the company has CE-Mark certification for Normal Saline to be exported to Europe. Promed, which devotes approximately 9% of its revenue on research and development, currently working on many new products in sterile segment and plans to file its own Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) with the USFDA.
