Company Description

PT. Kertas Leces is located in Leces, Probolinggo East Java and is the second oldest paper mill in Indonesia after PT Padalarang in Bandung West Java.

The Mill was built in 1939 and put into commercial operation in 1940 with capacity of 10 tons/day, producing writing and printing paper using rice straw as raw material with soda process.

It has 640 tons/day total capacity producing different kinds of papers such as Printing and Writing Paper (Mechanical Wood free Printing and Writing Paper, Copy Paper, etc), Tissue Paper (Facial Tissue, Toilet Tissue, MG Napkin Tissue), Newsprint Paper and Industrial Paper

For supporting and concerning of conserving the environments our company used waste Paper as raw material and committed by installing a big Effluent Treatment Plant with capacity 4.000 M 3 per hour.
