Product Use

The main applications of sodium cyanide is a gold mining (cyanide leach), as RUSTAVI AZOT in Geogriall as zinc-plating and gilding metal products. In the latter case, on the basis of sodium cyanide is prepared cyanide baths. In addition to sodium cyanide for the preparation of the cyanide bath it is used zinc oxide and sodium hydroxide (caustic soda). Despite the high toxicity of sodium cyanide, a solution has high productivity and opacity, which allows zinc and gold details of the most complex forms.
