Shinwoo IT, comprised of many research members who have experience in research and development for long time, is a technology-intensive company. Shinwoo has technologically supported firms of diverse fields through technical development of numerous products and service since establishment.

Right after being converted to a corporation, Shinwoo started development of Currency Discrimination Counter SB1000, its own peculiar model. In 2001, Shinwoo was awarded prize of the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy at Innotech show in recognition of the technology for the pilot product.

Putting the experience of research members who have developed facsimile machine and laser printer to use, development of banking equipment making the best use of Image Processing Technology under the motto of
