SIRUMA MINERALS CORPORATION (SMC) at the beginning, operated in various areas of general trade, started to focus its operations on the mining of SIRUMA-SILICA clay in Camarines Sur folloSiruma Minerals Corporationd by its mining of kaolin clay in Paracale, Camarines Norte in 1994 and supplied Filcera Ceramics and Lepanto Ceramics Inc. in 1990 to present.

BESTFOUND MINERALS CORPORATION, a sister company of Siruma Minerals Corporation, was established thereafter and became the leading supplier of Paracale Kaolin.

Mining area:
Report on the Joint Drilling of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Central Office and Regional Office 5 at the Siruma Mineral Reservation, Camarines Sur on December , 2000 shows that Siruma Mineral reservation covers an area of 3,300 hectares with a reserve of about 190 million metric tons, 50 million metric tons of which is deposited within the property of Siruma Minerals Corporation.
