Crimean SJSC Titan is the biggest specialized enterprise of Ukrainian
chemical industry.
Titan is situated in the Northern part of the Crimea, in the isthmus which
joins Crimean peninsula with continent. There are the important electrical
lines, railway, main roads.
Construction Titan plant began in 1964.
The plant has central laboratory, technical control department, laboratory
of industrial sanitary, depository, licensed stockpile.
The main activity of plant is production of pigmentary titanium dioxide.
Pigmentary titanium dioxide is applied in producing paints and lacquers;
paints and enamels for constructions; printing paints; artificial and
chemical fibres; plastics (thermoplastics, elastomers, linoleum); paper
(sized paper, paper-layer plastic, decorative film for chip slabs and
furniture etc.) leather, rubber; in producing catalysts, medicines, colour
pigments, luminophors; alloys, mother-of-pearl pigments, perfumes,
semi-precious stones etc.
