Star Metallics & Power Private Limited pleased to introduce ourselves as Star Metallics & Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited who is in Metal & Ferro Alloy business for the last four decades, as one the leading manufacturers of Ferro Alloys of various types in India. Our state of the art production facilities are located in the mineral rich state of Karnataka. Apart from Ferro Alloys, we also propose to generate Power for captive consumption as well as for commercial sale. Star Metallics & Power Pvt Limited (SMPPL), subsidiary of The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited has acquired Ferroalloy business from SMIORE. It has two large submerged arc furnaces of 1 X 15MVA & 1 X 20 MVA to produce Silico-manganese of different grades. The plant is located at Hospet, Bellary District, Karnataka. It is supported by SMIORE to supply part or full requirement of manganese ore, the main raw material. SMPPL will shortly commission a 32 MW captive power plant to ensure stable and viable power source for Ferro Alloy plant
