STEELEX, a fully owned subsidiary of ALLIED STEEL SA, established in 1999, is based in Lugano, Switzerland. A global trading company for steel and non ferrous metals and minerals. STEELEX has a representative office in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine and works through agents in a number of countries worldwide. STEELEX employs a team of about 25 people who will handle in 2009 a turnover in excess of USD 300 million. STEELEX has a strong equity base and financial support of major international banks.
