Company Description

Since the early 1950s, Super Resin, Inc. has continued to advance fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) molding technology. The company was formally established in 1957. Since then, it has developed wide-ranging applications for FRP.

In 1969, at the request of the late Taro Okamoto, Super Resin created the face of the ToSUPER RESIN, INC.r of the Sun for the Japanese World Exhibition in Osaka.
The company currently focuses on carbon-fiber reinforced polymers, and has developed aerospace parts for satellites and shuttles that travel between the earth and space, as well as for auto parts and medical equipment parts.
After becoming part of the I.S.T. Group, Super Resin combined its expertise in CFRP processing and molding with the I.S.T. Group's advanced materials technology to develop and manufacture new high-performance, value-adding CFRP parts.

In 2012, the company's innovative low-cost CFRP mass-production technology had its debut as the world's first. We also started developing mobile devices, and became seriously involved in the prepreg industry (manufacture and sales).
The company maintains its commitment to R&D. We are vertically integrated for the entire manufacturing process, from material development to production.

In order to respond quickly to the needs of customers, Super Resin has three locations in Japan (two plants and one business office), a business office in San Francisco, U.S., a large factory in Ningbo, China, and a business office in Hong Kong.
Super Resin has established a quality control management system compliant with: ISO 9001:2008/JIS Q 9001:2008, JIS Q 9100:2009/JIS Q 9001:2008(ISO 9001:2008).
