Company Description

THACH BAN - TBC GRANITE TILES - Thach Ban Joint-Stock Company ("Thach Ban"), which was primarily a State-owned company belonging to Vietnam Glass and Ceramics for Construction Corporation, Ministry of Construction, was established in February, 1959. The main activities of the company are: manufacturing and trading of bricks, clay bricks, granite tiles; transferring technology in production of Tuynel tiles; civil works and industrial projects, developing infrastructure; consulting, designing the engineering and transfer of technology. Thach Ban is the pioneer in the field of manufacturing material production in Vietnam. Thach Ban was one of the first companies to apply Tuynel - kiln technology in brick manufacturing in 1990. Since 1992, the Company has installed and transferred this technology, starting the change in Vietnamese bricks baking methods. Up to now, more than 80 factories throughout Vietnam have been transferred this technology. In 1999, one part of the Company, The Bricks Factory, has been equitized to change into a Joint-Stock Company, which operates with an annual dividend ratio of 30% to 40%. The Company&＃039;s breakthrough came in 1996 when it became the first to produce Granite tiles in Vietnam. With many years of application, the Company has totally mastered this technology. The product quantity, especially for regular size and color, has reached the top position. The Company&＃039;s prestige brand name has been constantly voted "High Quality Vietnamese Products" since 1997. Most of the key construction in Vietnam used Granite products of the Company, such as: Noibai and Tan Son Nhat International Airports, Danang Airport, Government House, large hotels, commercial and official buildings. In addition, the Company has been exporting its products to many countries like Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Brunei, France, US, Norway, Russia, etc.
