Started 2001 in down-east Maine as Robbierabbit's Official Maine 2-Meter
Repeater Guide.

Popular with truckers, Western Trucker Publications have since produced reliable 2-meter repeater charts for many states and interstate highways by testing in the field at locations separated by 50-60 miles (to avoid gross overlap), 2-meter having a range of 70 miles in flat country; users may interpolate as necessary. Charts are at this time offered free to the traveling public for promotion. We encourage users to provide them to friends.

Quality: The only such guides with exclusive field-testing on the world market, when innovated; we have repeat business, and, despite imitators, we were first. Others derive information from data bases or other sources, and often reflect license applications or intent; our charts are tested on location in the field to confirm that they reflect actual working repeaters and that any access tones work.

Equipment:65-Watt state-of-the-art transceivers coupled to 5/8-wave mobile antennas operating within the approved two-meter bands (144.000 thru 147.995 MHz VHF FM); charts are edited in M/S Word; distributed by E-reply attachment from field locations, providing prompt response to E-requests.

Further purpose: To provide travelers within the U. S. With any other publications or equipment to enhance their journey. We are currently exploring the possibility of producing small, inexpensive polarizing filters with a generic design to be attached to simple digital cameras.
