7. To devise purchasing policies, decides on whether orders should be put out to tender and evaluates suppliers
8. To check production capacities and quality capabilities of the suppliers;
9. To provide technical consultancy services and ensure that the quality is built into product and manufacturing processes;
10. To check conformity as per samples and order during production by following stringent quality checks of incoming goods and ensures suppliers deliver on time;
11. To research and identifies new products and suppliers;
12. To stay abreast of and ensures adherence to relevant legislation regarding tendering and procurement procedures.
13. To ensure all goods and services purchased comply with the corporate social sustainability policies
