Founded in 2003, Xcrypt, Inc. is a total Conditional Access Solution (CAS) provider for digital pay-TV. Based on over a decade of experience in digital video broadcasting area, Xcrypt has committed itself to provide innovative new solutions for Conditional Access System.

The solutions cover all area from the SoC chipset to Conditional Access Headend servers, including Smartcards and CAMs (Conditional Access Modules).The SoC chip is designed to support DVB CI Module(CAM) and has been produced and used XCRYPT Inc. XCAM and XCAM Premium.

The Xcrypt CAS has been serviced on satellite channels since June 2004, and proved to be safe and secure. Over 300K subscribers use this solution to watch digital TV channels.

On March 2005, Xcrypt announced a brand new concept for the Conditional Access System:
The SIM Module solution.This patent-pending Xcrypt innovation makes a legacy FTA STB to be used as a pay-tv terminal.
The SIM Module solution enables any Set Top Box(STB) to access a Smartcard through its RS-232C connection, which most STB have. It creates a new chance of huge market for the pay-tv area, because countless number of STB owners in the world can be potential subscriber of pay tv.
