Currently she is one of the largest Rockwool manufacturers and suppliers in the Asia Pacific Region. Yushan Rockwool employs the latest technology in rockwool production. Yushan Rockwool operates according to ISO 9001:2000 quality systems. Yushan Rockwool is made from natural volcanic rocks of basalt and limestone. The rocks are melted in a cupola using coke as fuel at approximately >1450����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������ºC, and the molten lava is fiberized by the use of four water cooled spinning wheels. The fibers are then coated with a thermosetting binder which, when heat cured, bonds the fibers into a mat. The mat is then cut into suitable sizes for ease of handling and installation. Yushan products can be produced in a range of densities. Typical densities range from 30kg/m3~200kg/m3. In addition to its excellent thermal properties, the open fibrous nature of CSR Rockwool enables it to be widely used for acoustic correction.
