Beginning operations in 1995, the plant is located in the southABASICstern city of Abadan (Iran), at the special Arvand Free-zone. Our manufacturing facilities take advantage of the latest and most advanced technology in it&＃039;s processes. The most important industries for SiC are the metallurgy and foundry industries; this is in order to increase the percentage of silicon and carbon contents of their final products. ABASIC manufactures Abrasives, Metallurgical, and Refractory SiC in the following specs: >97% SiC Met. Grade 88-90% SiC Metallurgical Grade 82-88% SiC Metallurgical Grade >97% SiC Refractory Grade 90% SiC Refractory Grade
