Plain Carbon Steels up to 0.55% C
Low alloy steels with:
Manganese and Nickel > 1%
Molybdenum and Silicon < 0.5%
Chromium < 1.5%
Vanadium upto 0.2%
Certain types of Stainless steels
Non-ferrous materials like:
Electrolytic Copper-Tellurium copper
70-30 Brass
Aluminum of 99.5% or higher purity
