The story was started as "gathering specialists and creating great enterprise". By the former chairman Mr. Spacer Cheng, ACELON CHEMICALS & FIBER CORPORATION was founded with paid-in capital USD450.000.00.

Nov. 1988
Bought Pu Yan factory (5,400 square meter).

Mar. 1988
Increased paid-in capital to be USD1.5 million.
Started to design and construct production line of Pu Yan factory.

Apr. 1988
Set up three texturing machines with monthly air textured yarn capacity 100 tons. Business herein started.

Sept. 1989
Increased paid-in capital to be USD1.8 million.
Set two more texturing machines with monthly air textured yarn capacity 60 tons.

Apr. 1990
Increased paid-in capital to be USD3.6 million in order to set up
flat yarn machines of Pu Yan factory.

Apr. 1990
First production line of flat yarn was set up and run successfully. It's the first process with high speed spinning - HOY (high oriented Yarn) in Taiwan. The speed was 5,000m/minute, fACELON CHEMICALS & FIBER CORPORATION times to traditional spinning. It's a technical breakthrough in synthetic yarn industry. This strengthened the competition ability on manufacturing cost. The initial monthly output of HOY was 200 tons.

Oct. 1990
Flat yarn production line was wholly set up with 6 machines. Total monthly output became 600 tons.

Nov. 1990
Developed nylon trilobal bright filament yarn successfully and replaced the supplying of similar but expensive yarn from Japan. Because of good quality and reasonable price, the market share was 70% when launching.

Apr. 1991
Increase paid-in capital to USD5.9 million.

Apr. 1991
Four machines of second production line of flat yarn was set up with 440 tons capacity in Pu Yan factory.
Meantime, decided to set up Fan Yuan factory.
