This we are able to do with the help of our domain expertise in Enzymes and Probiotics. With over 400 dedicated professionals, we serve two major segments viz. Healthcare and Processing Industries. In Healthcare, we focus on human, animal and plant healthcare. In processing, we provide soft solutions for various harsh processes in food processing industries (Fruit and vegetable processing, baking and milling, malting and brewing, tomato processing) and in non-food processing industries such as Textiles, Leather, etc.

AETL was established primarily as a Biotechnology company with a purpose to provide natural and eco-friendly solutions to industries worldwide and subsequently developed as the largest manufacturer of Industrial Enzymes in India. The vision to form this company came from our founder Mr. L. C. Rathi, who is the forefather of the Indian Enzyme Industry. Mr. L. C. Rathi pioneered the production of Papain, a vegetable enzyme derived from papaya fruit, and set-up India's first natural enzyme plant way back in 1958. AETL has carried forth the tradition of his entrepreneurial spirit since 1989

The production at AETL is absolutely indigenous. We take pride to be one of the few global companies who produce full spectrum of enzymes derived from all four natural origins viz. Plant, Vegetable, Fungi & Bacteria. Both solid state and submerged culture techniques of fermentation are put into practice thereby producing a wide range of Enzymes like Cellulases, Amylases, Proteases, Pancreatin, Trypsin, Serratiopeptidase, etc.

The companys' state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001:2000 and WHO cGMP certified. With investments over $20 million, the production facilities enable us to provide enzymes & probiotics worth over $100 million annually.
