Akcalar, as a renown traditional family business, is recognized to be one of the leading integrated manufacturing sawmills, established an incorporated in 1963, in the city of Balikesir, at the Akcalar Orman Urunleri A.S.st coast of Turkey. The company had incessantly supplied wide range of sawn softwood timber products to the domestic market in the first 25 years span; and then broken out to expand her development program focused on the growing markets for industrial lumber in the early 1990s. Having built on years of experience and success in overseas industrial markets, the company has started production of kiln dried and treated industrial lumber for a large variety of applications like edged-glued wood panels, window and door profiles with mitre joints and door jambs.
