Company Description

Carrying part of its production outside Istanbul, Akkanat Holding has played a leading role in the spreading of industry over Anatolia, and has contributed substantially to the improvement of developing regions of the country.

In this context, Akkanat Holding established an important integrated facility in textile sector in 1996, in Bey&＃351;ehir district, with an investment summing approximately 50 million EURO. This facility providing employement for the local people, and being the greatest and the most modern facility of the district as Akkanat Holdingll as of the region, realizes a high quality production since 1997.

On the other hand, the factory of Target Inc. has been moved to Bey&＃351;ehir in the year 2000, and its capacity was increased 50% by additional investments over the years. Target Inc. realizes its production successfully with the local people.

Furthermore, in addition to the ready-made clothing factory of Beybo in Istanbul, another ready-made clothing factory was established in Seydi&＃351;ehir and put into operation in 2002. The entire staff of this factory has been recruited trained in Seydi&＃351;ehir, and today the production goes on successfully there as well.

As a result of the investments actualized by Akkanat Holding in this region, one of the first steps taken was to provide all the social security rights to its employees who actually generate the local population, today these actions brought a whole new concept to the working standards of the local society and still stays as a source of honour for the company.
