AKKUSLAR BRAKE DRUMS and BRAKE DISCS COMPANY was established to produce various casting pieces by Yakup Akkus and Sami Akkus in Konya in 1987. Then AKKUSLAR AUTO CO. LTD. which majored on brake drums incorporated and had AKKUSLAR limited company commercial title. In the following years, thanks to the experiences which was gained on the brake drums, a part of disc brake system and brake disc mirrors bringing improvements to the function of brake drums were added to the production. Our company continued to produce her goods in a covered area of 3 000 m2 and an open area of 1 000 m2 in the BUSAN Industry Zone in Konya, Turkey. She reached a capacity of 50.000 items of brake drums and discs per year.

The factory construction having 37500 m2 open 5500 m2 closed area in Konya Organize Industry Area was finished and at he begin of 2008 we moved there. Some machinery investment has been done through renewing foundry and sandblast machine and so the capacity was increased. The manufacturing is still continuing here. The factory is working with 40% capacity. We possess a manufacturing system to meet the needs of all types over 350 kinds of drums and discs in 30 main groups because we united our expertness on casting and moulding processes with the novelties of the modern technology. Our firm is selling its 80% manufacturing to domestic market through distributors. 20% of manufacturing is exported directly or indirectly. Most of export is done to Middle East countries.

We continue to investigate on the manufacturing process to raise the quality of our products uppermost in their category. In accordance with this aim, we are increasing the number of processing lathe units which are controlled by the computers produced in establishments of newest technology. Thus, next to improving the quality of our products, we are increasing our manufacturing capacity also.

Manufactured brake drums and discs are controlled last time before making ready to deliver to the customers. By improving the quality and increasing the capacity much more, we are targeting to make a good name AKKUSLAR called in outside more frequently and an asked brand because of her products to be mentioned more often.

We strive to do our best to distribute the goods rapidly on overall the country. To augment the service quality, we continue to endeavour organizing a retailer system. We have yet dealers in some cities.
