Since American Metal Bearing Company beginning in asmall Los Angeles shop, AMB has grown tobecome a leading supplier of engineeredcomponents and systems to both commercialbusinesses and some of the largest militariesand their suppliers around the world.AMB (American Metal Bearing) first earned itsreputation for technical excellence in 1921,producing and repairing specialty racecar bearings.We shifted our focus in the 1930s to making larger,more complex industrial bearings, and at the onsetof WWII, produced the first lineshaft bearings forAmerican Victory ships dispatched to Europe.
