After three decades of exporting handloom fabric, ANUSHREE (Nirmal Fathepuria) and his son Amit set up Anushree thirty five years ago , Now it is known as kolkata's one stop shop for exotic dress materials.
The elegant showroom recently expanded into the swanky lee road neighborhood close to the posh Elgin road locality, giving its customers a wider display of its vast range of handloom fabrics.

Sprawling over an area of 600 square feet the chick outlet offers a wide array of fabric in cotton, jute and pashmina, sourced from Bhagalpur in bihar and banares. " We select fabric from villages in bihar and Uttar Pradesh to give our buyer excellent, authentic products.

The original Burrabazar market outlet is now a warehouse, stocking products for export to a number of acclaimed dressmakers across the country.

The newly inaugurated section is a treasure trove of material for fancy dupattas, stoles, saris and kurtas for both men and women. We've over a hundred varieties of fabric for kurtas alone. Our store also has huge range of fabric for designer dupattas, available in bandhej and crushed patterns, with gold and silver zari.

And if you feel you've walked into a rainbow, don't be surprised. The dress materials come in over 200 shades of colours. We cater to all testes and try to make available all the conceivable colours. From warm tones like russet, navy blue, different shades of red, orange and golden yellow to pastels like mauve, lemon, varying shades of white, pink and blue, Anushree has it all. The shop has an exclusive wing for dyeing its fabric." We take personal care to avoid damage.
The shop has a special car-parking zone for shoppers. Parking is a major problem here in kolkata and we tried to solve that with parking facility.
