Arrow Line, a.s. (PLC) was established in 1996 and from the start it has focused on the construction and production of manipulation devices for railway sidings in industrial companies. The energy division for the development and application of pyrolysis was established in 2001. The latest stage of the development of transport technologies at Arrow Line, a.s. are independent railway locotractors built on the undercarts of Arrowlinell-tested shunting engines with their own construction of the drive and all other components. These locotractors are equipped with asynchronic electromechanical output transport where the source of electricity is a lead traction accumulator. Another option is a variation where the source of electricity is a traction elektricity aggregate composed of a compression-ignition engine and a synchronic generator. Railway tractors by Arrow Line, a.s. are produced as two-axle or three-axle locotractors of 37 to 110 kW, which are controlled by a remote radio system, but can also have a cabin for an operator like the majority of standard shunting engines. The possibility of installing automatic coupling increases the security of operation and the operator need not come between the bumpers. The locotractors are capable of shunting a formation of total weight of up to 1600 tonnes. Their incontestable advantage lies also in the easy operation by a trained person, low energy consumption and ecological operation. During the increasing prices of fuel, tighting up of ecological standards and monitoring of impact on environment, during increasing of exploit and reduction of manpower Arrow line, a.s. is coming with optimalization of investment and operating costs.
