Company Description

John DeMarco founded rtcraft Chemicals INC. In 1990. John had a BFA, did Artcraft Chemicalsddings on the weekends and was a Chemical Salesman for such companies as Mathieu, Monson Chemical and Van Waters & Rogers. He is now co-owner of Artco Distribution, a large regional Chemical Distributor which deals in larger quantities, such as 55 gallon drums, tanktrucks, etc. John also came up with the formula for Safe-Stop, an odor-less stop bath, which Artcraft still sells and is very popular with schools, Universities and many others.

I purchased Artcraft from John, May of 1994 after doing the packaging for him for a short period. My background is over 10 years as a Purchasing Agent for a Chemical Plant, as well as a number of years in bulk chemical sales. Each year has seen double digit growth for Artcraft as well as an expansion in product offerings. Our base is photochemicals, however please e-mail us with other chemicals you may be looking for. We are looking to expand our product offerings. Our background and experience is in the chemical industry and we have the contacts to get the product you are looking for in most cases. We have expanded our product offerings by adding Zonal PRO Chemistry, Berg Color Tone, Forte Papers as well as Bergger Products. We have also added a few additional lines of raw photo chemicals.

We are also an authorized dealer for all Omega Satter products. Omega Satter sells the full line of photo related products. If you see an enlarger, a different type of Forte paper, a filter, tripod, etc, drop us an email and we will gladly quote you on it. We never charge more than Omega and on the more expensive products, we can provide an additional discount.
