Company Description

Auson - a family owned company - was founded in 1928. Auson AB manufacturing program comprises mainly of:
Anti-corrosive compounds for industrial and automotive protection.
Sound damping compound, removes noice and resonance
Roofing compounds
Bituminous products
Wood protection products
wood and coal tars
Additives for the rubber industry, turpentine and other wood-distillation products.

In 1985 a new larger plant with emphasis on safety and environment was built in Kungsbacka. We do not regard ourselves only as a producer and supplier of high quality products but also as a provider of problem solutions. Our flexibility allows us to find good solutions to most of the problems presented by our customers.

Positive results are achieved with the help of our research and development department. Our laboratory is continuously working on bringing forward new and improved products.
Specialties such as solvent free anti corrosive compounds evolved by our laboratory for use in the automotive industry, will be our future guiding star. Our anti rust products are being used by both Volvo and Saab and we operate in markets throughout the 'new Europe'. We also make temporary solvent borne anti rust compounds for general use, both solvent- and water borne compounds, for storage and transport protection. We also have a car maintenance and an anti rust product line serving the do-it-yourself category.

Our wood preservers are based on tar, wood extracts and turpentine, naturally derived products which have been used for centuries in untreated form. We market these products in their original from as well as in refined form for special applications. We are internationally known as suppliers of wood tar. We also supply a wide range of bituminous products for the maintenance of roofing felt, metal and asbestos-cement roofs.

Our range of products currently comprises some 140 products.
