Company Description

Barkmet, a.s. is a Czech shipyard located on the river Elbe in northern Bohemia, approximately 70 km south of Dresden, Germany. It specializes in manufacturing vessels of various types, sizes and purposes such as chemical tankers, cargo vessels, container vessels, tugboats, ferries, pontoons, houseboats, yachts and floating homes. In 2009, the company expanded its manufacturing portfolio to include marine interiors and furnishings.
Beside shipbuilding Barkmet, a.s. products includes construction and production of piping systems, super-structures, bridge structures, and many others steel structures.
We have a lot of experience in cooperation with companies from abroad. Our main markets are Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark.
Our professional work reflected in the certificates granded by renowed international institutions such as Lloyds Register and Bureau Veritas.
