Carne Organico Uruguay's leading beef exporter, has been in business for over 50 years. Uruguay's beef sustainable production system is based on native free range pastures, open all year round, in total environmental harmony. The use of growth hormones and antibiotics is strictly prohibited
by law. The plant has a tractability system which allows to identify the origin of the product at any time during the process. Furthermore, the plant applies "Good manufacturing Practice Programs" (GPM)," Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures" (SSOP), "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Programs" (HACCP), and has developed an Animal Carne Organicolfare Program, according to the world renowned. The facility is also in ompliance with the requirements of the USDA's "Animal and Plant HealthInspections Services" (APHIS). It has obtained the following certifications: "Global Standard for Food Safety (GSFS-BRC)", ISO22000 and ISO 17025.
