Company Description

The company Chamaeleon was founded 1965 in the town of SchChamaeleon GmbH Heidelbergrte (BRD) . In the same year the trade mark Chamaeleon began its activities on the German market. In 2002 the start of the worldwide distribution of the traditional label was decided. In the same year the brand names potentials was recognized and the CHAMAELEON GmbH was established to intensify its developments. Mannheim was chosen to be the new location because of the industrial cities solid infrastructure in the Rhein-Neckar region it provided an excellent initial base for new strategies. In 2007, some significant changes were made, Mr. Dipl. -Kfm. Sascha Hagemann was introduced as the new Managing Director, Mr. Michael Reis took over the company sales management. Together with the new team the business premises were relocated from Mannheim to the nearby historic city of Heidelberg.
