The Company has a labchisomark mining limited force of 126 permanent and 26 temporary employees comprising technical staff, artisans and workmen and has the capability to undertake small and large scale projects to the satisfaction of clients. Part of this personnel form a section dealing with hire of skilled or semi-skilled labour to clients who may not be justified to retain such skills on their permanent labour complement. Notable Areas of Operation SUPPLY Chisomark Enterprises is a fast growing supplying and contracting company whose principal activities include supplying of various mining spares, electrical items, mechanical spares, office equipment, office furniture, air conditioners and lifts, protective clothing, fire fighting, building materials, stationery and office supplies, electrical and general hardware, motor vehicles and spare parts, school desks and furniture, cleaning materials and general repair and maintenance. PLANT MAINTENANCE FABRICATION, ERECTION AND FITTING WORKS Chisomark has been involved in Fabrication, General Welding Repair, Assembly and Fitting works. These have been mostly life extension overhauls or repair works to various machinery and equipment, pumps, valves, charge doors, dryers and others such as underground cars, tippers and trolleys aimed at improving plant availability and reliability. RAIL TRACK LAYING, REHABILITATION AND MAINTENANCE MINING SERVICES The Company’s range of services includes Geotechnical Support, Drilling and Ventilation services. Long Hole Drilling LHD, Stope Drilling and Grouting Cable bolting – Drilling and Installation for 51m, 57m, 76m, 102m, 105m and 152m. Drop Raise drilling and blasting. Development: Horizontal developments Inclined developments Vertical developments Slyping Rock bolts installation: Drilling support holes and installation of roof and wall anchors as specified by the company’s Rock Mechanics. In special and specified cases installation of cable bolts and passive support like steel arches and timber sets may be specified. Support work consists of drilling of holes, preparation and insertion of the grout mixture into the holes and installing of bolts or cables. Installation of shotcrete in areas specified by the company Rock Mechanics. Wire Meshing & Lacing, Timber Setting and Shaft rehabilitations and Maintenance. Replacement of guide rails, compartment timbers, and steel works spillage lashing. And Desludging of water drives, sumps and settlers.
