MOULDING ACTIVITY Presently we have two injection moulding machines (1 no each Arburg Make 420c 1000-250 with Selogica controller and 320ks 700-250 ). But we can add more machines depending on the requirements. I) Moulding of all types of plastic components such as; a) Thermo Plastic components. b) Small to medium size components c) Materials so far moulded: PP. ABS, Nylons, HIPS, PS, PE & PC etc. II) Types of components Processed is i) Medical disposables such as IV sets. ii) Caps, closures for Fair & Lovely, Colgate and Medicine bottles. iii) Switches for switch gear items and relays for electronic products iv) Sealed Battery container and lid components And many more general engg. SHEET METAL COMPONENTS Presently we have three Presses (1 no each - Raster, Germany make 25 tons Capacity, 1000 Strokes/Min., 50 tons capacity, 400 strokes/Min and OKK, Japan make 100 ton capacity ). MACHINING ACTIVITIES a) Castings – Automotive Components: Gray cast iron Valve Body, weight – 7 Kgs, is a part fits in a Control Valve of a tractor manufactured by M/s. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Nagpur. The castings are procured from the customer’s approved vendor. We have established whole setup from scratch. It is a line machining activity. 5 minutes cycle time. QS 9000 procedures are followed and we are self-certified vendors. We maintain a cp/cpk of 1.33+. Special purpose drilling machine for 6 drilling & 2 drill cum reaming operation, designed and fabricated by us. All jigs & Fixtures required have been designed and manufactured by us. Special tools designed by us. All gauging systems have been developed by us. Sub-micron level air-gauging equipment is used at four locations. b) Hydraulic pump parts: Samples machining of Castings of Hydraulic pump parts, for Parker Hannifin India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, has been successfully completed and the process has been approved by the customers. Productionisation shall start in about 2 months time. c) Machining of Forged parts including forging. Product: O’ lets – pipe connectors of sprinkler units etc., exporting to M/s. Star Pipe Products Inc., USA through their subsidiary in India. Product involves process of Bar stock shearing. Hot forging, rough machining, centreless grinding, bead blasting, marking, CNC turning – ANPT threads machining etc. Weight of the component – 250 grams to 1000 grams. Material – ASTM 105. Hot forging is out sourced at present. We are going to have hot forging facility soon. Supplying one container a month (1, 50, 000 to 2, 00, 000 nos. ) of gross weight – 20 tons. d) Machining of parts from bar stock: Manufacture of Studs, Bolts, Nuts to M/s. Star Pipe Products Inc., USA through their subsidiary in India Material : Carton Steel, C45. Sizes: ½” to 1”. Supplying two containers a month of gross weight 40 tons. e) Lighting Bulb shell Moulds etc., Manufacturing of Lighting bulb shell moulds, Orifice Plates, Blow Head tips and many more wear parts of Glass Ribbon Plants (manufacturers of lighting bulb shells). Customers: i. Philips India Ltd., Baroda, India. ii. Surya Roshni Ltd., Gwalior, India. iii. L. Lighting Glass Co. Ltd., Thailand. iv. Integrated Glass Technologies Ltd., U K. These are small batch quantities at regular intervals. Materials: Special cast iron with 1% Nickel, En41B – nitro alloy, Monel-400, Numonic alloy. 5. Forging Facility: We are establishing Forging facility with 2 nos – 300 tons Knuckle Joint Presses, 1 no – 300 tons Friction screw Press, 1 no – 100 tons friction screw press and all other peripheral equipments such as Bar Shear, Induction heating furnaces, Annealing furnace to do both cold forging and hot forging. Capacity: Components up to 1000 grams. This facility will meet our present export requirement. We have spare capacities to develop some more components. 6. Plasma Ion Nitriding Facility: We have imported cold chamber technology Plasma Ion – Nitriding plant from Sofia, Bulgaria. It is being installed.
