For more than two decades CMC COMMUTATOR PVT.LTD., has been manufacturing Commutators and Slip rings for a wide range of industrial applications. During this period CMC have developed capabilities and technologies to engineer specific solutions for individual customer requirements. We have the process, technology, equipment, materials, and expertise to ensure the most cost effective solutions to all your Commutator and Slip ring needs.

We have a large range of existing designs to choose from. Our Commutators and Slip rings work in virtually every industrial application providing years of satisfactory performance.

Our plants based in Belgaum (500 Kilometers from Mumbai and 160 Kilometers from Goa) are fully geared up to manufacture a wide variety of Commutators and Slip rings. We are committed to improving product value and quality.

We use best quality raw materials (we import them whenever required) in our manufacturing process. The product passes through series of inhouse inspection tests both in in process stage and finish stage, to ensure finest quality to meet exacting customer needs.

Our customers include original equipment manufacturers, repairers, rewinders and users of various types of AC and DC motors. We have the largest market share for Sliprings in the OEM segment in India. Some of our valued customers are Kirloskar Electric Company Limited. Crompton Greaves Limited, NGEF AEG Limited, Motor Industries Company Limited-BOSCH, Elgi Electric and Industries Limited, Bhilai Steel Plant, Rourkela Steel Plant, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Indian Railways, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Siemens India Limited, Advani Oerlikon Industries Limited., Tata Electric Company Limited, TELCO, Bajaj Auto Limited, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre etc. Other customers include manufacturers of DC Motors, Alternators, Slip ring Motors and various other industries like cement plants, fertiliser plants, mining equipment, rolling mills etc.

We are the largest suppliers of Hitachi Traction Motor Commutators for Hitachi TM HS 15250, GE Loco and other motors to Indian Railways. We have been awarded Certification by Research, Design and Standards Organization (RDSO), Govt. of India as Approved Regular Source for procurement of Commutator Assemblies for electric locos/EMU for Indian Railways.

We are pleased to inform you that we have been certified for ISO 9001:2008 by TUV SUD South Asia Pvt.Ltd.

We are the leading suppliers of Import Substitute Commutators to customers like Steel India, Tisco, BSP, Coal India subsidiaries, Power Plants etc.

CMC has appointed SDR Inc., based in Cleveland Ohio, headed by Ex. Directors of Kirkwood, as Exclusive Distributors for North America. Alstom is marketing our products in South Africa. CMC exports its products to subsidiaries of ABB in Asia Pacific Region, through ABB Lenzohm, India. We are regular suppliers of moulded Commutators for Demag Compressor Motors. Some of our customers in U.K. are Hire Technicians, J.T Warsop, in USA Western Sky Industries and M.B. Armature in Malaysia.

Apart from servicing to OEM requirements and export commitments CMC caters the Slip ring and Commutator requirements of domestic replacement market. We also undertake rebuilding of large Commutators & Slip rings on demand.
