Commercial Sewings reputation for making strong, quality, reasonably priced custom fit snowmobile covers spread quickly. In the seventies, dealer sales increased so rapidly that Commercial Sewing began producing covers year round. Commercial Sewing, Inc. expanded into the motorcycle industry in the early 70s making covers, luggage & sissy bar pad/assemblies. Service to dealers was soon replaced by volume sales to distributors and eventually the OEM manufacturers. The OEM direct relationship allowed us to expand the snowmobile & motorcycle lines as well as grow with the introduction of the powersport segments of ATV, personal watercraft (PWC) & UTV/RTV side-by-side off road vehicles.Our entry into the marine industry started in the mid 90s with the introduction of jet boats by powersport OEMs, leading us to introduce our mooring cover design. Since then we continued to expand into many other boat OEMs with a full line of marine products/accessories.Most recently we have branded our covers, Outer Armor Built by Commercial Sewing. We feel the new name is more consumer friendly, while positioning our covers as a leader in recreational vehicle protection.We have 3 USA manufacturing facilities and are totally committed to powersport & marine markets future. We are not a me too company, meaning although we can and do produce current generally accepted market items, we are focused on providing innovation.
