• Contemporary Treasures is a company specializing in the import of goods from Asia, the Middle East and North African, and other regions of the world. Contemporary Treasure Import located in the heart of the Nation's Capital in the United States, but thanks to our growing success, we have recently expanded our business to the internet so that we can provide the same excellence of service to a customer base world wide. Our current product line includes an inventory of heirloom quality / custom made home furnishings: a selection of beautiful, imported garments, handicrafts, handbags, accessories and personal items; as well as a line of Special Purchase items which are exclusive to our site. Our aquisitions mainly come from small factories, co-ops, master crafsmen and artesians from low to middle-income countries around the world.Our objective is to promote economic growth and stability and in such rural communities by creating steady employment opportunities our suppliers, while offering our largely Western-based clientelle a vast selection of top quality merchandise from around the world.
