Established in 1993, China Trading Center for Automobile Import (CTCAI), as a state-owned large enterprise, is mainly engaging in importing, sealing and providing service of imported cars, as CTCAIll as dealing with car export, automobile logistics, exhibition and trading park, car rental and used car business. At present CTCAI is China’s general distributors and dealerships of imported cars authorized by Volkswagen, General Motors, and Chrysler Company, And CTCAI also is the authorized dealerships of domestic cars of Changan Ford, Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler. CTCAI has established 13 flagship 4S dealerships in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, etc., and is the biggest shareholder of Tianjin Airport International Automobile Garden in Tianjin Binhai New Area. In the year 2006, CTCAI finished sales of 10,076 units automobiles, its turnover is 3.409 billion RMB (431 million US$), the total import and export volume is 201 million US$. With the competition ability of automobile industry increasing, China will be the Manufacture Center of World automobile and spare parts.
