There is more than 50-years-long tradition of the safety razor blades production at the Czech Blades company (formerly Astra Diu) in Jevicko, Czech Republic. The year production of carbon razor blades is about 1 billion pcs., maximum capacity can rise up to 1,3 billion pcs a year, what makes Czech Blades one of the biggest players worldwide. Company does produce industrial blades from high quality carbon steel too. Both razor and industrial blades are sold for very competitive prices. The Czech Blades Company does export almost 100% of its production of carbon razor blades out of Europe (mainly Africa and South-East Asia and Pacific), approx 80% of the production of the industrial Blades is exported within Europe (mainly Germany, France, Italy).
