Fakeeh Hospital was established in 1978 by Dr. Soliman Fakeeh, with a capacity of 100 beds. Today DSFH has grown to 600-bed capacity, over 90 out-patient clinics, three main buildings, a Health Promotion Center “Olympia”, and a Nursing and Medical Sciences College. DSFH is both Joint Commission International accredited (JCIA) and Australian Council for Healthcare Standards International accredited (ACHSI). DSFH has 2 out-patient pharmacies, 1 in-patient pharmacy and 1 IV Room, spending over SR120 million on pharmaceutical products. DSFH purchases approximately SR10 million pharmaceutical products per month. FCHC is headquartered in Jeddah with a branch in Riyadh, and branches to open soon in the Eastern Province of Dammam. It is a family business jointly owned by Dr. Mazen S. Fakeeh, a prominent endocrinologist and Director-General of DSFH, who brings the Company a wealth of combined medical and business knowledge, his brother Ammar Fakeeh, Deputy Director-General of DSFH who holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Brown University, USA and sister Manal Fakeeh, an active local philanthropist and DBA from Glasgo University, Scotland. • Aug. 2006: The first Bright Talk Montessori School opened. • Nov. 2006: The first Body Central Retail shop opened now renamed Beauty Rx.
