Company Description

The Company, Durrani Associates, was established as a proprietorship 25 years ago to conduct research activities and field pathology of fruits and vegetables with the objective to enhance the shelf life of different items such as mango, orange, grapefruit, potato and tomato. More recently Durrani Associates have also established a subsidiary to conduct import and export activities in a systematic way. The new Company is registered as a private limited company under Companies Ordinance, 1984 by the name of Pak Sun Green Pvt Ltd and the registered office of the Company is in F.B. Area, Karachi.One of the greatest achievements of M/s Durrani Associates/Pak Sun Green Pvt Ltd is that Durrani Associate have found a breakthrough in the hot water and wax treatment of mango that enhances the shelf life of the product by as much as 35 days. This is a feat that others are still trying to achieve. M/s Durrani Associates can now capitalize on this attained competitive advantage by exporting processed mango by sea freight instead of air freight and keep the product fresh for 35 days fulfilling all SPS requirements in Europe, US, Middle East, China and the Far East. Durrani Associates/ Pak Sun Green (Pvt) Ltd have vast experience and knowledge in mango pathology, farming and processing. We have pioneered cold chain and reefer container shipments from Pakistan. We have an excellent knowledge of the sanitary & Phyto-sanitary standards of all major mango markets and have the infrastructure and system to meet those requirements.We have exclusively been ratified by the quarantine departments of Iran, Jordan and Malaysia. Most importantly, we have gained a tremendous competitive advantage by ascertaining the right formulation of wax/shellac for mango hot dip processing that has enabled them to increase the shelf life of mango to 35 days. This feat has not been achieved by any other processor in Pakistan. Durrani Associates can procure quality mangoes at the farm level, much cheaper than other exporters, efficiently process them (hot dip wax process), properly package them and ship them via sea in reefer containers, also complying with SPS standards of all major importing countries and emerging markets.
